I’m Avril, an award-winning freelance conceptual copywriter with over 11 years’ experience. I’m based in London but from Ireland, which means I had made Guinness my personality long before the rest of Hackney.

I can help you come up with big ideas, tackle pitches, sharpen scripts, or write in-depth tone-of-voice documents.

As a conceptual copywriter, ideas and words are my craft, however I feel as comfortable thinking strategically and like to leverage that in my creative plotting - cracking the brief and then continuing to think beyond it.

I’m a film studies grad, so while I enjoy making weirder-shaped work - films are my first love. In between freelance jobs, I’m writing a film about the night the Irish government accidentally made drugs legal. Yes, that happened.
